When I first looked at our floor plan one of my first thoughts was, “why do we need so many living rooms?”

After living here several months though I can tell you that we use them all!

This room is our family room upstairs. This is the location of our large tv and the place the whole family can sit and watch a movie together. We also opened Christmas presets here and it was perfect for that! All linkable items can be found here: http://liketk.it/33AgY

This room we call the ‘boys tv area.’

There is a fold out couch in this room that is great when the boys have a guest over. I designed this space to have a ‘little boy man cave’ feel.

The next area is the sitting area. This space is right off the kitchen and possibly the most used area in the house! When I am in the kitchen the kids are always in this space. I am so glad we furnished it with durable furniture that is enough for the room, but not too much that is clutters the space. The kids are always running in circles around this area and I love that I can see them from the kitchen. It is very functional and we love it. Linkable items here: http://liketk.it/2Xs3O

I am glad that my initial reaction to all of these living rooms was proved wrong by the way we ended up using these rooms. They all have a different function and are all unique.
