Playroom Airstream

Silver Troubadour

The Playroom Airstream was probably the most fun I have had working on a camper. I got this Airstream when it was completely gutted and I was not sure what I was going to do with it- build it out, make a she shed, make a little diner- the possibilities were endless!

About the same time as I was pondering what to do with this blank slate the kids were asking for a treehouse and viola! The Airstream playroom was created! I built bunks in the back and benches and brought in a table. I covered the foam cushions with Dr. Seuss themed fabric and added shelves, bins, pictures of the kids, and a teepee. Then I added new toys 🙂

The kids had no idea I was making this for them. The big reveal was priceless. They were in total disbelief. It was like a moment from HGTV. My friend has a farm and brought some baby goats and puppies and we had a photo shoot with the kids and baby animals. Talk about cuteness overload!

Then, around the time this Airstream was completed I was in a local magazine. This camper has been a huge hit and the kids love it so much!

Until the next adventure,
