Nursery

I was so excited to get to decorate a nursery again! We have eight children and the last time I had a nursery to decorate was baby #5! Babies 6 and 7 were born when we lived in our temporary house while we built. Their ‘nursery’ was a bathroom! We will always laugh about that as they get older! We made it work, but are so happy to have a room for everyone now.

I wanted this nursery to be gender neutral just incase we added any more babies 😉 I first chose the crib. I loved the idea of a gold metal crib. Then I wanted to soften the room a bit with a long white bed skirt, but could not find one anywhere so I made the look using a twin bedspread as a crib skirt!

I added a few layered shag rugs and repurposed a chair that we had. I also gave a dresser a fresh coat of paint and added new hardware and made it into a changing table. The side table is from a flea market. The olive tree and basket are from Amazon and added a touch of color to the room.

I found the wallpaper at Sherwin Williams and curtains from Wayfair. The name sign was from an Etsy shop and the mirror and few accents on the table and walls are from Target.

I just love how it all came together. I love having a nursery for Cora to take naps in and it never gets old to walk into her room in the morning and see her standing in her gold crib with her name behind her with her sweet face smiling from ear to ear.

Here are the LTK links to everything I could link:

I hope you enjoyed Cora’s room reveal as much as I enjoyed creating this space!

Until next time,
